  1. This inspiron 6000 battery is great! My battery that came with laptop caused smoke to rise out of my keyboard and immediately got really hot. Freaked me out! Thought it was going to catch fire…But this new battery is great!!!
  2. Of course, I would prefer if the factory battery had lasted until the end of time. However, the reality is replacements become necessary occasionally. I have always been impressed with the speed of the processing and delivery of Dell, Inc. This time was no different as I received the battery just as I was leaving to go out of town. So far the Dell inspiron 710m battery is working well.
  3. First replacement battery for my laptop. Originally had a 6 cell, which would run down very quickly with my 17″ screen. So far the 9 cell has lasted twice as long as the 6 cell when running on battery only.(3 plus hours…) The 6 cell battery was about 2 years old before requiring replacment, curious to see how long the 9 cell lasts.
